Speaking.  Compare and contrast

Sport plays a great role in our modern life 

 Photo 1 shows sportsmen playing basketball which is one of the most popular sport games. They are looking up in one direction as they are playing together to achieve a common goal. They look excited trying to follow the ball. It seems to me that the game is really important for them.

In photo 2 there are 2 people. We can see a man and a woman cycling together. They are smiling and look relaxed. They are probably doing sport just to keep fit.

These two photos are related because they both have deal with sport, that`s why everybody is wearing a special uniform. What is more, people in the photos are happy as they enjoy their activities.

However, the players in photo 1 are in the gym .It is clear, as we can see a wooden floor  there while in photo 2 the people are somewhere   in the park because the trees in the background draw our attention. Secondly, photo 1 depicts the team but we can see two cyclists performing individually.

I think the game in photo 1 attracts people who like either playing or watching sport while cycling in photo 2 is for those who like being outdoors.

I`d prefer to play basketball. I`d probably join the team as it can teach me to cooperate, to deal with both success and failure and to balance competitiveness.

I`d prefer to join the cyclists. Cycling helps me relax and be in shape. Being outdoors is also good for my heart and lungs as I obtain a lot of oxygen and train my muscles.
