My last visit to a fast-food restaurant (7 form)

            Eating out has become very popular nowadays as people have little time for cooking.
Besides, there is a great variety of restaurants to choose from. My family enjoys eating in fast-food restaurants as they are convenient and rather cheap for us.
            We have recently visited our favourite fast-food restaurant in the city centre. There were some things that we really enjoyed.  Firstly, there was a varied menu, which included a fantastic salad bar, a wide choice of vegetarian dishes and several types of hamburgers and cheeseburgers. I bought a spicy hamburger with chilli sauce in a soft, white bread roll. It was delicious. Secondly, the staff were helpful, friendly and polite during our visit. They looked very smart in their clean uniforms. Thirdly, the atmosphere was excellent because of good music, clean tables and comfortable seating. Finally, the new no-smoking policy made our meals at the restaurant a very pleasurable experience.
            However, there were some things which spoilt the impression. To start with, the hamburger I ordered was a bit cold and cost too much. So, it would be nice if they were sure that hot dishes were hot when they went out to customers. What is more, it would be a good idea to lower the prices as they were too high for a fast- food restaurants. Furthermore, the service was slow and a cashier gave us the wrong change. We complained about it to the manager and he promised to improve staff training, so that they could work faster and make fewer mistakes.
            Nevertheless, the restaurant was, on the whole, a success and we had a nice time there. We are going to invite our friends to join us next weekend.
